Remember that office party I talked about? Well it held place last night and I really didn’t feel like wearing that coral dress so I went with something more casual. That turned out to be a good thing cause this was way more comfortable.

Anyway we had amazing time…good food and cocktails, absolutely fabulous singer from Macedonia, dancing all night and colleagues in a completely different, way better, relaxed mood! We should do this more often :-)

For the past six months or so, my office building has been under some heavy indoor and outdoor construction work cause a) things were starting to fall apart and b) it really needed a change. And although I developed long term cough due to huge amounts of dust, office turned out really great! So my boss decided we should have a party to celebrate this “new beginning”. That being said, the big question is: what to wear to a party with your colleagues that is not completely formal but not casual, let’s say it’s semi-formal??

So…I got my hair trimmed yesterday. It’s a bit shorter than I expected but that’s what you get when your hairdresser loves, no, adores to use her favorite object, the scissors. I remember when my hair was much longer, my former hairdresser’s were, I don’t know, afraid to cut it. Always had to tamper and encourage them that it’s ok. But not Iva (my current hairdresser), she can’t wait to “zig-zag” it :-) she seriously enjoys every second that anyone spends on her chair and that’s really amazing to watch and experience. She has no problem with chopping :-). I guess it’s a good thing that my hair grows really fast.

Anyways, I made the list..hooray…the Christmas list…double hooray :-) That’s a start right?

…yes, yes I am…well I have a slight cold again and I don’t know what is with me, shopping and cold. My favourite Croatian designer Anamarija Brkić Višnjić – A’Marie presented fall/winter 2009/10. collection. She described it as “research of practical multi-functionality”. Thanks to the possibility of clothes transformation, the owner has the ability to create it’s own clothes that makes it individual. Major role in this play have strings that are hidden in stitches. Beautiful materials like silk and cashmere are fulfilled with jewellery made of chestnut tree, stainless steel, silver and semiprecious stones, snake skin glasses and bags.

Well…all I have to say…I would wear these small masterpieces every day!

I was looking for gloves made of genuine leather for quite some time now and I finally found them in Mango. They are 100% sheep leather, really smooth. The thing is that I wanted them to be thin and elegant but lined and warm in side…and the extra plus are these little roses :-)

I’ve been digging trough my mom’s closet again and found some goodies…two silk scarf’s, this one is brownish and the other one is mix of gold and black…but the real treasure is this bag. It was actually sort of a sack without the shoulder strap when I first found it. That was kind of cute but impractical…so once again fabulous Mr. M. (I now call him my wizard, but for those who missed out, he’s my shoemaker) came to rescue and made this one shoulder strap out of almost identical shade of brown leather and if that wasn’t enough he pierced it and put a clip so I can resize it as I like…wow right…it really looks like it has always been there (should have put before and after shots for you to get the idea what I’m talking about)…anyways I love the mix of black and brown, love the patchwork…

And yes, one more thing, I found my beloved lost earring on the most unexpected place and that not only made my day, it made my year!!
